What a fantastic effort from our children and families this morning!
Alan Barlow (our Bike It Officer from Sustrans) witnessed 82 'blinged bikes' arriving at school (a bit of a hectic start as we'd planned for 30 to 40!) Alan had very kindly set up a free breakfast for all those braving the cold weather.
Some excellent examples of just what we can do when we work together with friends and family at home. In fact the spread of bikes were so great, Alan decided to double the prizes. So now not only do all children taking part get a medal but 12 children will be awarded a bike it T-shirt in tomorrows Windy Winners assembly.

Bike It @ Windy Nook
Click this link to see some of the happy (and cold) faces from Class 1 & 2 as they battled to cycle without stabilisers for the first time!
I'll have to get Mr Hawdon to show me the flashy trick to paste the Animoto image straight in... for now... just click the link and leave a comment!

Seeds of Success!
Not only did Class 4 have a fantastic time running their Spring Plant enterprise... but their super talented teacher put together this amazing Animoto of the whole experience!
She said I wasn't allowed to put it on because the music was 'nowt to dee with fluwers' (that's how Mrs Ferry talks. But I thought she'd done such a fab job it would be a shame not to share it. Just don't tell her it's on!
Leave a comment to say what you feel about her film.
Mr Firth
P.S. If like me you think she should have put each image AFTER the text about it - just say so. She ignored me but perhaps she'll listen to you!

What would you like to celebrate?
Mr Hawdon has been given permission for our school to use the full Animoto package for FREE!

This latest offering is built from a few images I had on a pen drive.
As you watch it think... What would I like to celebrate about our school?
What we do... (click here not the picture - I'll have to get Mr Hawdon to show me how to do it!)

The next Animoto could be produced by YOU!
