World Maths Day

On Wednesday 6th March we celebrated World Maths Day in school. Key Stage One and Two children were able to log on to the World Games website and had lots of fun competing against children from around the World. We had tangrams, cookery and puzzles throughout the day.

A fun time was definitely had by all. You could say…mathstastic!

Maths Games

I know how much you all love using the laptops and ICT suite whilst in school and developing your learning through games. Well, to help continue your learning at home, why not have a look at some of these maths games I have come across – simply click on the link below!

You could even show off your skills to an adult at home!
I can’t wait to read your comments.

Happy maths games!

Windy Nook Celebrates

To help The Queen celebrate 60 years on the throne we had a red, white and blue day in school. We were all dressed to impress! We decided to mark the event by making a WN60. What do you think of our creative efforts? I’m sure the Queen would be ‘Jubilee-ous’ about it!

Walk, Wheel Wednesday and the Nook

A HUGE congrats to everyone at school who pledged to walk or bike to school every Wednesday during the Summer Term. As a result of all your hard work and commitment we are the proud winners of the project. Our prize…a bike stunt show in school on Wednesday. Watch this space for pics.

A massive thank you to Emma and Sustrans for making the event possible.
