Reading Club

Calling all bookworms!! Do you love reading and listening to stories? Then you will love an opportunity to be invited to our reading club in KS2. One lunchtime a week Mrs Smith will be inviting a class to join her in the library to listen to stories.  Children are invited to bring in books of their own and the class will then vote on which one we will read. Mrs Smith will also choose a book to read and discuss.

The Evening Chronicle visits Windy Nook!

Anna Ingram and Owen Shannon showed true star quality last week when the Evening Chronicle came into school to report on my new book ‘Sixth Sense’. We had lots of fun and giggles.

Thank you to all the children and parents who have expressed an interest in my book and given such fantastic support. There will be a book signing on Tuesday 22nd May after school in the community room. Free bookmarks will be given with every book purchased. Make sure you order in advance. I’ll look forward to seeing you there!
