Jubilee Crafts

For Jubilee Week, we had a craft afternoon and parents were invited to come and work alongside their son or daughter. We made a Union flag media case, nodding corgi, friendship bracelet and a British themed money box based around a British post box.

It was a COOL craft afternoon!

The Jumpy Jubilee Crowns!

When we did the Jubilee week, we made crowns to represent the Queen’s 60 year reign. We printed off pictures of Union flags, the Queen, corgis (the Queen’s dogs) and the Diamond Jubilee logo. Half of the class went to Mrs Ferry’s class and half of Mrs Ferry’s class came to ours to make cool crowns.

Great Britons

Children in Oaks gave presentations to each other about a Briton they admire. They researched this person at home and, in some cases, produced a ‘PowerPoint’ presentation to accompany their talk. Here are some examples … Let us know by leaving a comment who YOU think is a Great Briton.
