Kung Hey Fat Choy from Nightingales

In Key Stage 1 we celebrated Chinese New Year a few days early. Two visitors, Mrs. Smedley and Mrs. Wang, worked with Nightingales helping us to find out about the history of Chinese New Year, learning how to say thank you in chinese and making red and gold  fish. We also used chopsticks to taste noodles and we made lucky red envelopes with a new year message inside.

Chinese New Year in the Robins

On Friday 20th January the children in the Robins enjoyed dragon dancing and eating noodles with chopsticks.  We were also very lucky to have visitors who came into our class and told us all about Chinese New Year. Everyone had a fantastic time!!!
